Our Lawn Treatment

Treatment Programme
Spring treatment - March to May. This will be your lawns first feed of the year. At this time of the year we will also check for moss on your lawn.
Weed control - April to June. Once the conditions are warm enough we will idenify weeds and apply a selective weed killer. Some lawns may need subsequent applications for more persistant turf weeds.
Summer treatment - June to September. This treatment will thicken up your lawn promoting heathly roots and green sward. We will also check for weeds at this stage.
Autumn/Winter treatment - September to November. Feeding autumn fertilizer high in potassium, also thatch scarrifacation and a top dressing. This treatment encourages root development and growth and helps protect against frost and disease resistance keeping the lawn strong and healthy for the winter to come.

It is not possible to give a set programe as we need assess your lawn's requirements and monitor progress, as all lawns respond differently to treatments. Beneficial Services
Aeration - All year round. Aeration stimulates strong root growth and relieves compaction. We offer solid or hollow tine aeration. Cores that are produced are picked up and not left on the lawn.
Scarification - Spring/Autumn This process concentrates on removing dead matter from your lawn. Without scarification this dead matter can make your lawn look matted and difficult to cut. Scarification prevents your lawn from becoming a breeding ground for pests and dieases.
Lawn repair - Spring to Autumn If your lawn is damaged or badly worn, we can revive your lawn. This process involves re-seeding techniques
Top dressing - Spring/Autumn. A top dressing can de applied after aeration. This can improve the quality of the soil in your lawn as well as stimulating growth to help combat the onset of weed and moss infestation.
Leaf removal - Autumn/Winter. Fallen leaves can suffocate and deprive your lawn of much needed autumn light. We can collect laves and remove for composting.
